Purple can't guarantee the timing of government benefit payments. Purple makes direct deposit funds available as soon as we receive the payment file from the benefits provider. This can sometimes be earlier than the scheduled payment date, but not always. The timing of your benefits payment could be impacted by government payment delays which are not common but may occur occasionally due to government processing schedules, holidays, or internal delays at SSA or the VA. If you've enabled notifications, you'll receive an email or push notification as soon as your deposit is available. If your benefits don't arrive by the expected date, it's a good idea to wait three business days before contacting the SSA or VA.

Note: Some members may receive government benefits up to four days early¹ with direct deposit, but that's not a guarantee. These dates are estimates based on the dates published here. SSI, VA, and SSDI payments are scheduled by the government, so we can't control when these deposits arrive.
