How does early access work?

Your government benefits may arrive up to 4 days early¹

Purple will process your deposits as soon as the Government sends notice that it intends on making a payment to you. This occurs several days before the actual payment date. For example, SSI and VA payments that are paid on the 1st of each month may be credited to your Purple Checking account up to 4 days early¹ every month.

We generally make funds available on the day we receive the payment file, which may be up to 4 days early for government benefits like SSI or SSDI, and up to 2 days early for other deposits. Early access is available at no additional cost.
